English at lunch in Kaneko

Every Wednesday, someone who is TIUA students eat lunch with teacher and TIUA staff in Kaneko cafe.
When TIUA students eats breakfast, lunch and dinner, they tend to eat with Japanese friends.
So this plan is a very effective.
Even if someone don't have positive, they can speak English.

This oppotunity is the option.
So, someone who don't want to speak English and teacher and staff don't need to join.

Moreover, if they reach summer semester, they will be fewer opptunities to speak English.
So, I think that this is good way.

Starbucks coffee

This shop was opened in 1971 in Seattle.
Starbucks has 43 areas of the world.
In Japan, this shop is very popular.
that atomosphere is very good and someone often study something and read books.
there are 4 sizes of coffee: short, tall, grande and venti.
Basic size is tall.

Starbacks's logo is mermaid.
In this year, this logo changed a little bit.

Oregon State Capital

This building built in 1938
This was built by the willamette University.
This height is 51m.(increading the dorm)

There are a lot of flowers around the building.
For example, there are Oregon pine, Ilex aquifolium because these are state of trees and frowers.

This building was registered National Register of Historic Places in 1988.

This building was rebuilt three times because this is destoryed by fire.
(including the dome)

River front park

River front park is a popular place for Willamette University students to visit in Salem.
That is park near the Carousel. There are a lot of nature in park.
On the river, some people may be able to see swimming birds.
The day was very beautiful weather. It was warm and comfortable.
So, there are a lot of people in the park.
For example, There were friends, familly, girl or boy friend....  because that day was TGIF!!!!
Some people hang out playing frisbee, some people playedomecard game, somepeople playedtch ball and froozen tag.
The park is a fun.

Powwow

It was hold on March 12 in Spark. Powwow is Native american's festival.
In Spark, there were a lot of shops.

For example, it was beads, jewery, clothes, stones...
Native american people danced traditional music.
They wear wings on back and head.

Some children are also danced together.
